Mortgage Investor Reporting Specialist

Water Tower Hill - Colchester

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00

The primary duties of this position are to reconcile monthly mortgage investor and commercial participation remittances and to monitor cash flows to investors. The person in this role will be expected to perform more complex loan transactions within the mortgage servicing system including foreclosures, bankruptcy pre-petition and post-petition payments, and short sales. The integrity of the Mortgage Loan Servicing database will be supported through ad hoc reporting and error resolution. The person in this role will also assist the supervisor in identification and resolution of servicing software issues. It will be helpful for the successful candidate to have knowledge of the mortgage and commercial loan servicing, FHLMC, VHFA and FHLB/MPF investor reporting guidelines, as well as in depth knowledge of Phoenix, FHLMC Service Loans, and VHFA software applications. In-depth loan accounting knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and report writing tools will be necessary to be successful in this position. This position also requires excellent analytical and decision making skills. This position is part of the Mortgage Loan Servicing Group.

Facilities Assistant

Colchester, VT - Water Tower Hill

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: ---- >The Facilities Assistant is responsible for supporting a range of administrative and operational tasks associated with facilities, security, and supplies. The Facilities Assistant will assist the Facilities Supervisor, as directed, to maintain the corporate Security Photo-Card Access System, perform quality control reviews of video and physical security surveillance systems, perform supplies inventory management, and act as a primary contact regarding all facility related issues with the Colchester office building. The Facilities and will maintain records and schedules of security systems maintenance/review activity, and update file record systems, both physical and electronic. The Facilities Assistant will provide new staff an orientation on the physical access controls and procedures and will support existing staff with changes to their physical security profiles, lost and replacement badges. ---- PRIMARY GOALS and OBJECTIVES: ---- >Perform all functions required to maintain an updated centralized Employee/Vendor Photo-Card Access System which includes the issuance and recording of both permanent and temporary access badges, the recovery of expired badges, audit of system access controls, termination of lost badges, and orientation regarding physical security expectations with new employees. >Validate the credentials of approved vendors entering the Colchester facility prior to issuing temporary visitor badges. >Perform quality control reviews of all video surveillance systems across the NEFCU enterprise and coordinate timely, corrective activities for any deficiencies. >Assistance with alarm system and life safety system testing, training, and operation. >Perform monthly visual check of life safety devices, such as AEDs and fire extinguishers. >Assist the Facilities Supervisor and Facilities Coordinator by acting as a point of contact for facilities and security related matters including execution of light maintenance activity and department administrative tasks. >Supply chain fulfillment point of contact for NEFCU Staff and related vendors. This includes executing all activities related to creating and maintaining records associated with inventory of forms, brochures, supplies, and envelopes; maintaining and organizing physical inventory and warehousing space, preparing and updating audit tracking reports, selecting and staging inventory to be transported to the branch system and other NEFCU departments, work closely with appropriate NEFCU departments to ensure printed material is accurate per NEFCU’s and HealthOne’s requirements, and ensure Water Tower Circle and Harvest Lane locations has necessary supplies and copier paper quantities. >Maintain inventory of the Official checks, Accounting checks, and Auto checks in a secured, locked environment. Distribute these materials as requested and track distribution and ordering activity to fulfill Audit reporting requirements. >Reconciliation of vendor invoices related to the supply chain activity and NEFCU check distribution process including weekly and monthly reporting to the Accounting department. ---- REQUIRED SKILLS and PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS: ---- >Ability to Professionally communicate effectively with staff and vendors. >Minimum high school degree or GED; 3 – 5 years’ experience in assisting in office management, supply chain management, or security services. ---- WORK ENVIRONMENT: ---- >The noise level is moderate (sustained noise from Mechanical systems). >Will experience occasional job stress in dealing with various job demands and/or time constraints. >Requires significant amount of walking thought out NEFCU’s office buildings and grounds. ---- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: ---- >Must be able to lift/move items up to 50 pounds. >Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. >Must be able to kneel, grasp, and manipulate small objects such as connector knobs, etc. >Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and other equipment for long durations daily. >Occasionally travel outside of primary work location to attend meetings, training, and other Facilities related support activity. >Normal range of vision and hearing required. >Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
