Primary Goals and Objectives:
To build member relationships by meeting needs and solving problems in a friendly and accurate manner.
Specific duties include:
Teller transactions include cash handling and processing of all member transactions
Listen to members and evaluate their needs
Present products and services that meet member needs
Provide resolution for member problems
Accept consumer loan applications and ensure the timely processing and closing of loans
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and friendly and demonstrate personal initiative to acquire knowledge necessary for success. The MSR will be expected to build rapport with members, listen and evaluate their needs, and confidently present options to members and recommend solutions that are appropriate. As a member of the branch team the MSR must be flexible to meet the needs of the Branch and committed to first time accuracy.

Branch Manager, HealthOne - Detroit MI

This position exists to provide direct services and support to our membership within the retail hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The hours of work for this position are subject to service delivery requirements within this timeframe and may also include overtime.
The Branch Manager is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a branch office, including: Member services; lending; relationship development; operations, and security and safety in accordance with the credit union’s objectives. Ultimately responsible for driving branch performance results through needs identification, leadership, coaching and guidance and execution of superior service and sales behaviors and activities by the entire team in order to meet/exceed 100% of branch sales goals. Participates in credit union functions and community affairs to increase NEFCU’s visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunity.
The successful candidate must be energetic and highly motivated with proven sales experience. Have the ability to create and develop a sales and service atmosphere in the branch, which translates into member retention and new business development. Ensure performance objectives are met for the branch office. Conducts outside sales efforts, as required, to bring in new primary relationships, while also maintaining and expanding existing personal banking relationships. Ensures compliance with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies. A minimum of three years of banking experience is required and at least one year of successful lending.
