The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle a high volume of calls, responding with in the established response standard. Must be able to manage priorities and meet numerous deadlines, while maintaining and providing a high degree of customer service to our members. The successful candidate will build & strengthen member relationships, maintain knowledge of all NEFCU products & services and serve as an advocate for members over the telephone. Specific duties include: Listen to members and evaluate their needs Present products and services that meet member needs Provide resolution for member problems Accept consumer loan applications and ensure the timely processing and closing of loans The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and friendly and demonstrate personal initiative to acquire knowledge necessary for success. Mortgage Loan Officer HealthOne a division of New England Federal Credit Union Detroit Michigan HealthOne is announcing the creation of a full time regular position for an individual to originate mortgage loans. The Mortgage Loan Officer provides a superior level of service to members in an extremely fast paced, demanding, environment with high expectations utilizing origination channels including face to face interviews, mail, telephone and applications from our website. Mortgage Loan Officers are expected to demonstrate professionalism while establishing and maintaining relationships with Realtors, builders, and financial planners. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and listening skills and will ensure that member service expectations are met and / or exceeded throughout the loan process. Candidates must have good organizational skills, be attentive to details, proficient with Microsoft Office products and have the ability to meet established deadlines. The preferred candidate will have 3-5 years experience as a mortgage loan originator, as well as knowledge of CU systems, products & services, and be able to cross sell and assist members with additional product needs and applications. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for originating both first mortgage products as well as home equity products and will have some branch support responsibilities. This is an opportunity for someone who can embrace a flexible work schedule in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment focused on member needs.
