Senior Human Resoures Generalist

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior Human Resources Generalist (Sr HRG) reports to the Senior HR/OD Executive and is responsible for the daily Human Resources operations as they relate to talent acquisition; employee recognition, engagement, and satisfaction; employee development; HRIS management, employee relations; compensation and policy administration. The HR department is comprised of the following staff positions: Sr HRG, a Benefits Specialist and a Training Analyst/Facilitator. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES Responsible to manage the full life cycle of talent management programs and processes to include recruitment, performance management, staff development, and retention. Actively manage staffing needs by sourcing and screening qualified candidates, administering candidate testing, supporting hiring managers through the interviewing process, preparing offers, and shepherding the new hire through NEFCU standardized onboarding program to ensure their success. Responsible for administering the compensation program to include generating and analyzing salary data, classifying positions, participating in industry and regional salary surveys and preparing budget forecasts. Responsible for administering the employee satisfaction survey with a goal of achieving actionable data. Partner with supervisors and managers to create improvement plans and measure results. Responsible for administering and managing employee engagement projects. Responsible to maintain vendor relationships in the areas of talent, compensation, and employee engagement. Maintain, revise, implement and be well versed in NEFCU HR policies and practices to reflect intent of current state & federal laws, as well as industry best practices and NEFCU culture. Responsible to update and maintain on NEFCU corporate intranet. Provide guidance, and partner when appropriate, to managers and supervisors on employee relations issues. Analyze, select, deploy and leverage a talent suite software intended to automate processes and improve employment brand, applicant tracking, employee transactions (status change forms), performance management, and exiting the organization. Serve as a resource to employees, including supervisors and managers, in all areas of human resources. Responsible for populating the HRIS system and partnering with the benefits administrator and accounting to process payroll. Responsible for integrity, accuracy and utility of all HRIS related data. Able to generate reports and analyze data to drive efficiency, improvement and adhere to compliance requirements. COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS Must have a minimum of 8-10 years of progressively responsible HR experience in a corporate setting, preferably in the finance industry. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, HR or relevant field; PHR/SPHR Certification preferred. Hold expert knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle, performance management and employee relations. Courteous, visible and approachable to all levels of staff. Committed to service excellence and exhibit the highest standards of quality customer service to both our internal and external customers. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work independently, exhibit strong initiative and be action oriented. Computer Operations Specialist

Description:

The Computer Operations Specialist provides quality, first line support to the users of NEFCU’s computer services including the ability to trouble shoot performance issues with desktop systems, phone systems, peripherals and various internal and external information system services. Responsibilities include the ability to build and deploy desktop computer systems and associated peripheral devices based on established instructions and standards; processing and posting files for back office; as well as monitoring the general health and stability of systems. This position will provide support between the hours of 10:00 am – 6:30 pm Tuesday thru Friday and Saturday between 8:00 am – 1:30 pm. Every third weekend will include remote on-call responsibilities for Saturday after business hours and Sunday. Flexible hours, including early mornings, are required for coverage of regularly scheduled events. Must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

The Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist assists with responsibilities in the mortgage loan area. Duties include processing new mortgage loan maintenance, mortgage loan payoff quotes, posting mortgage transactions, remittance of investor payoffs, escrow account setup, construction loan billing and homeowners and flood insurance tracking. The Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist also provides excellent member service by responding to member calls and inquiries. These are just a few of the duties associated with this position. The successful candidate must be attentive to detail, accurate with data entry, and comfortable with computer applications including Microsoft Excel and Word. Knowledge of loan software programs, such as Phoenix EFE & OnBase. Time management, multi-tasking, decision-making, organizational & analytical skills are essential in this fast paced, high volume environment.
