Mortgage Loan Processor

The processor is responsible for ensuring member satisfaction that meets or exceeds expectations through timely and accurate processing and closing of mortgage loans. The Mortgage department is a fast-paced busy setting and successful candidates should possess the ability to work independently, multi-task and work well under pressure and timelines. Qualifications include proven analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills, along with excellent communication skills. Knowledge of real estate transactions and mortgage lending compliance regulations along with proficiency with computers, attention to details and a proven record of maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Full-Time Teller

Vermont’s largest credit union is growing and has full-time teller opportunities available for the right people. Preferred candidates will present a responsible work history preferably in a retail environment and be comfortable and skilled with face to face communication. Successful candidates for this position will provide friendly, fast and accurate service to members. The ability to explain our various products and services as well as the ability to recognize and suggest solutions to our members will be necessary. This position requires travel between branches as well as standing and/or sitting at a computerized work station. Daily member interactions include cash handling and processing of all member transactions. Extensive keyboarding and the ability to use multiple system applications are required. This position requires occasional lifting of coins and cash, up to 20 pounds.

Contact Center Member Service Representative

Williston, VT

Hours: Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm & rotating Saturday coverage 8:45am-1:15pm

Primary Goals and Objectives: Excellent, communication skills needed for this diverse call center position. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle a high volume of calls, responding with in the established response standard. Must be able to manage priorities and meet numerous deadlines, while maintaining and providing a high degree of customer service to our members. The successful candidate will build & strengthen member relationships, maintain knowledge of all NEFCU products & services and serve as an advocate for members over the telephone. They will be required to solve problems and investigate a wide variety of issues and requests that may include gathering additional information, and working with other support staff within the organization in order to fulfill the request. Must exhibit a high degree of accuracy, and have prior customer service experience.

Member Service Representative

Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week, including rotating Saturdays

Primary Goals and Objectives: To build member relationships by meeting needs and solving problems in a friendly and accurate manner. Specific duties include: Listen to members and evaluate their needs Present products and services that meet member needs Provide resolution for member problems The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and friendly and demonstrate personal initiative to acquire knowledge necessary for success. The MSR will be expected to build rapport with members, listen and evaluate their needs, and confidently present options to members and recommend solutions that are appropriate. As a member of the branch team the MSR must be flexible to meet the needs of the Branch and committed to first time accuracy.
