Position: Business Loan Officer Location: Harvest Lane, Williston VT Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Position Description: The Business Loan Officer is responsible for originating, underwriting, and closing business loans in accordance with New England Federal Credit Union's (NEFCU's) policies and initiatives. Specific duties include: • Produce sound business loans which meet NEFCU's loan growth goals while managing risk limitations and being compliant with federal regulations. • Manage loan maturities in a timely manner in compliance with NEFCU and NCUA directives. • Facilitate the annual review of assigned business loan relationships with possible assistance and involvement from external resources. • Assist in the resolution of loan repayment delinquency and "work-out" business loan relationships. • Active participation in NEFCU's Member Relationship Development ("MRD") program. • Uncover member's otherwise unexpressed financial goals and objectives through active dialogue and listening to engage members in using NEFCU products and services toward goal achievement. • Participate in the training of individuals within the Business Lending Department as well as active participation in their own continuing education and training. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Accounting and/or Business or related field desired or equivalent work experience. • 3 - 5 years of experience as a Business Loan Officer within a credit union or financial institution environment. • Proven expertise in underwriting loans, loan documentation, assessing risk and federal lending requirements. • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail. • Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communications. • Expertise in Microsoft office suite. >>E.O.E

Cardholder Services Specialist

Position: Cardholder Services Specialist Location: Water Tower Circle, Colchester, VT Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Position Description: Cardholder Services Specialist is responsible for the overall effective servicing and maintenance of all card products for New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU). This role will monitor and manage card system performance issues, ensure proper account set-up and review reports/systems to identify fraudulent activity. Specific duties include: • Support card products including card dispute management, fraud analysis and detection, including credit card payment fraud. • Review credit card payments. • Assist with tokenization issues and send confirmation letters. • Complete service requests sent to department from retail staff. • Review new registrations for specific NEFCU products/services as well as maintain Bill Pay records. Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent. • Financial service industry and card operations experience with background in operational support of payment services preferred. • Knowledge and understanding of risks relating to deposit accounts, debit cards, and credit cards desired. • Strong organizational skills, data entry accuracy, and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Strong communication and writing skills. • Proficiency with computer/databases and Microsoft Office Suite environment. Member Service Representative - Float

>>Position description: The Member Service Representative’s (MSR Float) role is to build member relationships by initiating questions to understand the member’s financial needs and assist in providing solutions to their requests in a friendly and accurate manner. The MSR (float) position will handle a variety of branch functions at various branch locations (any of our six branch locations in Chittenden County or our St. Albans Branch). >>Specific duties include: • Engage members through active dialogue and listening, to uncover unexpressed financial goals and objectives. • Actively promotes, demonstrates and educates members on services that member is not using when fit and need have been identified. • Open new memberships, accounts, loans, and services within established guidelines. • Support a variety of branch functions including the Teller role. • Understanding basic features of all products and services that the credit union offers and frame how these may benefit members. • Based on the business needs, this role will float to other branch locations to ensure appropriate coverage. >> Qualifications: • Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication • Accurate cash handling skills • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and problem solve • Proficiency with personal computers • Flexibility and adaptability required to work from various branch locations as needed

Teller - Float

Hours: Monday – Friday, plus alternating Saturdays - 40 hours

Position Title: Teller - Float Location: Varies (Float Position) Hours: 40 hours a week with a rotating schedule between the hours of 7:45 AM and 5:15 Monday-Thursday and 7:45 AM and 6:15 on Fridays. This includes a rotating Saturday at least one per month. Saturdays are worked at our Harvest Lane (Williston) or St. Albans branches. Position description: This position will efficiently and accurately conduct teller transaction while providing our members with exceptional customer service. The Teller (float) position will handle a variety of transactions at various branch locations (any of our six branch locations in Chittenden County or our St. Albans Branch). Specific duties include: • Performs professional, friendly, efficient, and accurate teller transactions • Follows policies and procedures established for the teller position • Listens for and demonstrates empathy for member needs and refers to appropriate staff when financial needs are identified • Supports member inquiries through a working knowledge of financial transactions, products and services Qualifications: • Accurate cash handling skills • Proficiency with personal computers • Strong attention to detail, upholds teamwork, problem solving proficiency and exceptional verbal and written skills E.O.E.

Orientation Period for New NEFCU Employees

NEFCU has an orientation period for all new employees joining the company. New employees are subject to a standard 90-day orientation period. The orientation period is a period of time devoted to the evaluation of the employee in the new position. It is also a time for the employee to assess her or his aptitude and interest in the job.

NEFCU Business Casual Dress Code

We expect our employees to dress appropriately in business casual attire. Our goal is to provide a workplace that is professional, contemporary, and inclusive for all. Employees are expected to demonstrate good judgment and taste when selecting clothes to wear to work. All employees are expected to dress like they are going to interact with members, regardless of job title, function or office location. As a rule, clothing intended for the beach, yard work, dance clubs, exercising or sports activities are not appropriate for the workplace. If any of NEFCU’s dress code policies cause concerns based upon religion, disability or any other legally protected class, please contact a member of the Human Resources team to discuss and request an appropriate accommodation. Employees in violation of our dress code will be addressed individually and may be sent home to change, in which case time away from work will not be paid. Repeatedly disregarding the dress code will result in documented disciplinary actions.

Head to Toe – Contemporary, Business Casual Dress Code Guidelines

Hats are prohibited while at work. Headbands should be conservative in size and color.

Hair should be clean and styled. Hair coloring and highlights should be limited to colors naturally occurring such as brown, black, blonde, or red. Colors not naturally occurring, such as green, blue or pink, are not acceptable.

Visibility of body art, including tattoos and piercings, should be limited in nature. Excessive tattoos should be covered and facial and dermal piercings need to be removed while at work.

Shoes are expected to be clean and professional. Flip flops, sneakers, winter boots or rain boots are prohibited.

Leggings are only permitted when worn with a long, tunic style top or dress. Jeans are only permitted on special occasions during NEFCU sponsored “denim days”. Shorts are not permitted.

Clothing should be neat, clean, pressed and in good condition. Tight clothing or clothing that is too revealing is prohibited. Clothing should be free of words, terms, or graphics. Mainstream brand logos are generally acceptable.

Sweatshirts, sweatpants, wind or exercise pants are not appropriate. Cargo pants (pants with pockets on the sides of legs or pants which can be zipped off to become shorts) are not acceptable. T-shirts, tank tops, halter tops, midriff tops, or spaghetti straps should not be worn.

Dress and skirt length should be no more than two inches above the knee when standing.

Any NEFCU logo wear is generally accepted.
