In recognition of the importance of the nursing profession to our members and our community, NEFCU is proud to support and assist individuals who wish to pursue a nursing career through financial scholarships for appropriate training at accredited institutions. NEFCU awards three $3,000 scholarships yearly to NEFCU members applying to or enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate nursing program.

Hanna Hurtubise, a senior at Richford Junior Senior High School, will be attending the University of Vermont.
Bidhya Chamlagai, a sophomore at the University of Vermont, is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
Tenzin Tsephal, a Licensed Practical Nurse who currently works at a local senior living facility, will be attending Vermont Technical College in the fall to pursue his Associate degree in Nursing.
Inspired by the National Science Foundation, NEFCU is helping to increase the number of individuals who choose careers in the hard sciences by providing annual scholarships to applicants who best demonstrate their commitment to science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Alicia Tanneberger – She will be a senior at UVM this fall and will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She is from St. Albans.
Grace Lu – She is a senior at Essex High School and is from Essex Junction. She will be attending Dartmouth College in the fall to study Neuroscience.
Connor Zwonik – He will be a Junior at UVM in the fall and is from Colchester. He is a double major in Mathematics and Statistics
