NEFCU Announces 2014 STEM Winners

Williston, VT— New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) announced today the winners of its annual Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Scholarships. Three scholarships of $3,000 each were awarded.

The 2014 NEFCU STEM Scholarship Winners:

Emily Geske of South Burlington is a senior at Champlain Valley Union High School. Emily’s love of the environment and hands-on academics is bringing her to Colby College in the fall to study Biological Science.

Qianyue Liu of South Burlington is currently enrolled at the University of Michigan, where she is pursuing her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree, specializing in palliative care.

Chloe Johnson of Fairfield is a senior at Bellows Free Academy. Chloe will be attending Middlebury College this fall to pursue a chemistry or mathematics degree with a future aspiration of obtaining her physical therapy or M.D. in pediatrics.
