Meet the Mortgage Loan Officers

Before relocating to Chittenden County, Danielle was born and raised in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. It was there that she established her appreciation for the charms and natural beauty of the state. She loves to explore and experience everything Vermont has to offer, from hiking to the abundant and ever-growing artisan dining and craft goods!

Danielle has committed her entire professional career to NEFCU. Starting in 2004, she has attained experience in every step of the mortgage lending process. Using her experience to lead homebuyers to the right product for their need brings her a great deal of fulfillment, but she is most impassioned by the relationships that she builds with buyers. She is driven to assure that members have the best possible lending experience as they achieve their home buying dreams.

Sara is passionate about home ownership and helping NEFCU members find the right financing for their home. A veteran loan officer, she entered the financial industry in 2001 and joined the NEFCU team in 2003. Sara specializes in listening to individual needs and developing personalized mortgage solutions. She enjoys seeing members leave her office confident in the mortgage choices they have made.

A native Vermonter, Sara grew up in Essex and graduated from the University of Colorado with a major in Communications. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, hiking, sports (especially hockey!), traveling, and reading.

Christine has been with NEFCU since 2006. Over those years she has worked in many areas of the Credit Union. Christine understands the complexity of buying a home and enjoys working with members to help them understand the mortgage process. She takes pride in providing the support that each member may need in order to achieve their homeownership goals.

Christine has called Essex her home since 1995. She and her husband are proud to raise their daughter and two sons in the Essex community. She is an avid football and baseball fan and enjoys the great outdoors. Her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family and her dogs.

Mike has been with NEFCU since 2014. In his time with the Credit Union he has assisted members with their financial needs providing a personalized experience unique to each member. Mike takes pride in helping borrowers achieve their home buying goals by educating them about the mortgage process, which gives the members the knowledge to make the decision best for them.

Mike was born and raised in Colchester, Vermont and graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Education. He enjoys outdoor activities including golf, hiking, and kayaking, as well as spending time with his family and friends.

Marty has been with NEFCU since 2016. While working in the mortgage department, he has held several different positions which provides him a unique perspective in understanding the needs of each member. Marty takes pride in helping borrowers navigate the home buying process with an enthusiastic, genuine, positive approach. By educating and guiding members through the steps of home buying, he can help them make the best choice to fit their needs.

Marty was born and raised in Vermont and graduated from Castleton University with a degree in History. He is an avid fisherman and hockey fan. When he’s not working with his members, you’ll find Marty on the water or watching his beloved Boston Bruins.

Jennifer joined NEFCU’s mortgage team in 2018 and has worked in the financial industry for over ten years. She has worked in multiple capacities within the mortgage process and her experience allows her to create seamless transactions for her members. Jennifer enjoys assisting her borrowers in understanding their options when making decisions to meet their mortgage goals. Helping to make them feel at ease while navigating the loan process is her top priority.

Jennifer is a native Vermonter and Champlain College graduate. She currently resides in Essex with her husband and son. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and creating custom cakes and treats. Jennifer is an auxiliary member of the Essex Junction Fire Department and a member of the Essex Junction Firefighters Association.

Since joining the NEFCU mortgage team, Cassy has gained knowledge in helping members through the mortgage process. Whether it’s finding the right product to help a member meet their personal goals or getting them to the closing on their new home, Cassy’s positive and genuine attitude will help make the mortgage process easy.

Cassy is a native Vermonter with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of New Haven.  In her spare time, she is an amateur strongman competitor, so when she’s not helping members you can find her in the gym.
