NEFCU is aware that members are receiving fraudulent phone calls inquiring about potential “unauthorized” Zelle transactions on their account. Callers are identifying themselves as NEFCU employees and asking for their online banking login credentials. In many cases, the call or text will appear to come from us, as the callers are falsifying caller-ID and mimicking an actual NEFCU phone number.

NEFCU will never ask you to reveal your login credentials or passwords. If you receive a similar call, please hang up and call us at 800.400.8790 to ensure you’re speaking to an authentic NEFCU employee.
