Four times each year, New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) selects four recipient organizations at random to receive $625 each, for a total of $10,000 annually. NEFCU’s community giving donation recipients for the second quarter of 2022 were:

Age Well to help support their meal programs which include Meals on Wheels, Grab and Go Meals, Congregate Meals, and access to counseling with their Registered Dietician. Founded in 1974, Age Well provides older Vermonters access to healthy meals, in-home care, and community resources.

Children's Legacy Partnership Foundation to support the Empower Youth Leadership Conference. Children’s Legacy Partnership Foundation aspires to provide vulnerable children with access to healthcare and education, in a violence-free world, empowering them to reach potentials and live a legacy of helping others.

Howard Center  for the 12th Annual Zoe’s Race. This event raises awareness, provides connection, and raises funds to help friends and neighbors with mobility challenges make their homes accessible. Created in 1865 as an agency to serve widows and orphans of the Civil War, Howard Center’s present-day staff of 1,600 helps and supports more than 19,000 Vermonters each year. 

Vermont Parks Forever  to help support their Park Access Fund which provides free days in the parks to Vermonters in every county. Founded in 2013, VPF’s goal is to enhance and protect Vermont State Parks with charitable and private support.
