Vermont Emergency Economic Recovery Grants

On Friday, June 19, Governor Scott signed into law Act 115 creating the Vermont Emergency Economic Recovery Grant program. There is $70 million dollars being allocated to eligible Vermont businesses and non-profits that have suffered severe financial harm from the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional funds are already being discussed in the legislature.

For businesses that collect Rooms & Meals Tax on a monthly or quarterly basis, you will need to apply through the Vermont Department of Taxes. This is the same for Retail, Entertainment, or Recreation Operation businesses that collect Sales & Use Tax. Follow this link for more information and to apply.

For businesses that do not collect Rooms & Meals Tax and/or Sales & Use Tax and report minimal amounts of overall revenues, your grant application will be processed through the ACCD. Other businesses that should apply with ACCD are non-profit arts and cultural organizations, women and minority owned businesses, and outdoor recreational businesses.
