In a career with NEFCU spanning more than 35 years, Twyla has worked in all aspects of NEFCU operations. She has been a member of the Mortgage Department for 24 years, and has been a mortgage originator for the last 14. The variety of positions that she has held at the Credit Union have given her a unique understanding of members' needs and the levels of service that they have come to expect.
Twyla is originally from Northfield, Massachusetts, and has been living in Vermont since 1978. She says she enjoys helping members select the mortgage that's best for them, be it conventional, fixed, adjustable, jumbo, construction or land. Twyla especially enjoys guiding first-time homebuyers through the mortgage process, and making the mortgage process easy. She is one of the top producing loan officers at NEFCU.
Jeanne has over 30 years of mortgage banking experience, and has been a NEFCU loan officer for 20 years. She is located onsite at our Shelburne Road branch. Before joining NEFCU, she was an underwriting supervisor at VHFA. She has a great deal of experience helping first-time homebuyers, and works extensively with borrowers associated with the Champlain Housing Trust (CHT).
A native of Highgate Center, Vermont, Jeanne likes working with buyers over time and developing relationships with members. She finds it very gratifying to see members come back after buying their first home, ready to move up. She particularly enjoys helping first-time homebuyers through the mortgage process. Some of her most rewarding transactions have involved helping people who thought they'd never be able to own a home, including newcomers to the United States. Jeanne and her husband live in Burlington and enjoy travel, their extended family, and spending time on Lake Champlain.
Tim places his clients at the center of the lending process. With extensive experience in customer service, Tim is always listening to his clients and working to find the best mortgage solutions for each individual situation. Tim especially prides himself on helping members feel at ease by clearly explaining the details of each transaction in language that is straightforward, concise and easy to understand. This approach produces many referrals from existing clients.
With NEFCU since 2002, Tim has worked in several areas of the mortgage department, providing him with a deep understanding of NEFCU's products and services. He believes that knowledge and education is the key to helping members find the ideal mortgage solution, whether it is for a refinance or new purchase. Tim is located onsite at our St. Albans branch.
A native Vermonter, Tim enjoys relaxing at home with his wife and two children. He is an avid boater and sports enthusiast who regularly spends time in Vermont's great outdoors.
Few people know the needs of NEFCU members better than Cindy Reichard. For more than 20 years, Cindy has served the NEFCU community in a variety of roles and this broad experience shapes the way she approaches the mortgage process. Cindy knows that every client brings a unique set of goals to the table. That’s why she starts every relationship by listening to members to understand their individual needs and financial situations. From there, Cindy draws on her rich experience to educate her clients on available options and help them make informed decisions about one of their biggest investments.
Cindy grew up in Colchester and, prior to joining the mortgage team, served in marketing, member service and mortgage processing roles with NEFCU. She was an original staff member at the Shelburne Road Loan Center when it opened in 1999 and more recently served as a mortgage assistant facilitating purchase transactions with REALTORS®.
Annie has been in the financial services industry since 2001, and with NEFCU since 2003. She has worked in almost all facets of the Credit Union and possesses strong knowledge of the Credit Union’s products, services, and philosophy. Annie prides herself in making the loan experience pleasant and member service is her top priority.
Annie is a native Vermonter and understands the importance of local servicing. She believes that education is a very important piece in the home buying process and enjoys educating members on the good use of credit in order to achieve the ultimate goal of home ownership. She enjoys the mortgage experience as a whole—whether working with past members, first time homebuyers, or new faces.
Pete is a veteran loan officer who has spent the last 16 years in the mortgage lending business. In addition, he has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and credit management. This well-rounded background gives Pete unique insight into helping clients navigate the mortgage process. Whether it’s a first time homebuyer or a seasoned homeowner, Pete listens to members’ individual needs to find the right mortgage. This personalized service is the reason why Pete has so many repeat customers and receives so many referrals.
Originally from Philadelphia, Pete has called Vermont home since 1992, along with his wife and three children. He is an active member of the Vermont Mortgage Bankers Association and an affiliate of the Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS®.
Sara is passionate about home ownership and helping NEFCU members find the right financing for their home. A veteran loan officer, she entered the financial industry in 2001 and joined the NEFCU team in 2003. Sara specializes in listening to individual needs and developing personalized mortgage solutions. She enjoys seeing members leave her office confident in the mortgage choices they have made.
A native Vermonter, Sara grew up in Essex and graduated from the University of Colorado with a major in Communications. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, hiking, sports (especially hockey!), traveling, and reading.
