A native Vermonter and a graduate of Plattsburgh State (SUNY) with a Business Marketing degree, Penny has been involved in many different levels of lending since 1994. Those include financing for recreational dealerships, agricultural lending and farm credit leasing, as well as investment real estate and small business lending.
Penny likes to spend time with her family at sporting events, camping, or long weekends in Maine. She also enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, and trail walking.
Justin brings over a decade of commercial lending experience to NEFCU. He has worked in many areas, such as underwriting and portfolio management where he has held titles of Relationship Manager and Business Loan Officer. Justin brings over 15 years of experience in analysis and preparation of business financial statements. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont and Champlain College, with a degree in Recreation Management and Small Business Management and holds a certificate in Advanced Accounting.
Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Having grown up in the Northeast Kingdom, he is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Born and raised in Vermont, Colin has studied and worked in the community for over 20 years. He has extensive experience in retail and retail management, which makes him a versatile business lender. Having worked with small businesses since 2007, Colin thrives on helping business and business owners achieve their commercial and financial goals.
Colin enjoys time with his wife and two children, and during his spare time he is fishing, hunting, skiing, or playing hockey.
Denisa offers years of experience in retail banking and commercial lending as she has previously held positions as a Mortgage Loan Officer and a Credit Analyst, as well as a Business Loan Officer. She is eager to help business owners achieve their financial goals and to build strong and long-term relationships.
She studied Economics and Management in the Czech Republic and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management at Champlain College. She enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Chris has over 25 years of banking experience, including both branch management and business lending. Throughout his career he has worked with business owners of all sizes and from many industries, which has helped him understand the challenges and opportunities that businesses face. During his 15 years of commercial lending in the Rutland market, he has focused on building relationships and partnerships to help business owners achieve their financial goals.
He is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in Business. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and family and his hobbies include traveling, golfing, and officiating high school basketball.
By pairing his skills for developing member relationships with his working knowledge of business financing, Matt is equipped to help companies of all sizes meet their financial goals. In taking the time to fully understand his member’s businesses, Matt is able to offer cash flow and financial positioning solutions tailored to their needs.
Like many of his colleagues, Matt is a native Vermonter and earned his BA from Saint Michael’s College and MBA from Norwich University. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking for friends and family, teaching his kids to ski, and refereeing soccer.
