The Account Services Payments Specialist processes member’s electronic transactions accurately. Reviews and remedies ACH exception items. Assesses transactions to identify potential fraud.

The BSA Analyst's primary duties include conducting investigations of member transactions for Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) related concerns, analyzing and monitoring high risk accounts for irregular transactions, filing required regulatory reports, and conducting high-risk member reviews utilizing various resources of the financial institution (system software, reports, databases, and system applications). Responsible for investigations and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews that are performed on all high-risk members. This position performs various quality control reviews and monitoring pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program, OFAC, and Customer Identification Program (CIP) compliance using industry standard and regulatory guidance to ensure the financial institutions’ compliance efforts are maintained on a prioritized and scheduled basis.
Specific duties include:
- Investigate suspicious activity by utilizing various internal and external resources and prepare SAR reports for filing with regulatory agencies per BSA requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of BSA/AML trends, guidelines, and regulatory updates. Review and make recommendations of changes to credit union configurations, policies and/or procedures as necessary.
- Complete and review CTRs for compliance; prepare to file on a timely basis; address shortfalls in documentation provided by branch staff and provide training to correct those shortfalls as needed.

Qualifications:
